A name that starts in Ethiopia
Ethiophodhe opens on one of the oldest country names in the world. Ethiopia comes from the Greek Aithiops (Αἰθίοψ), which the Greeks read as "burnt face" and gave to all the peoples south of Egypt. Homer already speaks of the Ethiopians, at the far edge of the world, where the gods go to feast.
The rest of the name belongs to no language: the generator kept the Greek sound, the ph and the dh, and stopped there.
