About Waferganh
Waferganh is galaxy 48 of 256 in No Man's Sky, a normal galaxy. The standard odds. The game calls them Imperfect, Improved, Parallel or Rebuilt galaxies, under a cyan hologram. Most of the 256 are normal.
Travellers arrive here from the centre of Milekistri. From the centre of Waferganh, the road goes on to Agnusopwit.
This atlas holds 400 charted regions and 95 star systems of Waferganh, each with its portal address.
A name from two shores
Waferganh comes out of the game's name generator, and it reads like two languages glued together. It opens on a plain English word, wafer, and closes on a spelling from the south of Europe. The final -nh is how Occitan and Portuguese write the sound that French writes gn and Spanish ñ: montanha, the mountain, in Occitan, or Espanha, Spain, in Portuguese.
There is no Waferganh on any map. Only a generator that builds words from the sounds of real languages, and sometimes lets one sound cross a border.
