Players have long held that better starships and multi-tools turn up more often where the economy is strong. Calypso counts 266 documented systems at high wealth, 13% of the charted galaxy, and 35% of them were confirmed by a survey.
A harsh galaxy does not mean a poor one: wealth and planet weather are separate things. The charts show where Calypso's wealthy systems lie. They are densest in Calypso's Quadrant Delta, at 15% of its documented systems, and Nezkaubie Anomaly counts the most wealthy systems, 11.
