Venessika joins Venice (Venezia) and Jessica, and Jessica comes from Venice: the name first appears in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, for Shylock's daughter, who runs away with Lorenzo. It may come from Iscah, a name of Genesis, written Iesca in the English Bible of Shakespeare's time.
