Travellers arrive here from the centre of Daitibeli. From the centre of Gucuttarik, the road goes on to Enlaythie.

Tariq's mountain
Gucuttarik ends on a name that gave its own to a rock.
In 711, Tariq ibn Ziyad crossed from Africa into Spain (España) and landed at the foot of a great rock, which became Jabal Ṭāriq (جبل طارق), the mountain of Tariq. Spanish wore the name down, from Jabal Ṭāriq to Gibraltar.
The start leans towards Turkish, where güç is strength.
