Half a zebra

Quagga

Erquagsta holds quag, the start of the quagga, a zebra of South Africa (Suid-Afrika) striped only at the front. The last one, a mare, died at the Artis zoo in Amsterdam on 12 August 1883, and nobody knew she was the last.

Half a zebra, all gone.
