The birth system, the first steps, the record's opening entry.
In 2024, the record starts in « Samnaco Quadrant 🐾 », « Euclid »: « Elforcy-Ardey 🐣 », planet 1, 710 000 light-years from the middle. Nothing marks it as a beginning, except that it becomes one.
He names it « "Fish & Ships" 🏷️ », in « Iabaldiam Band 🎯 », a yellow sun, 3 500 light-years from the middle. His first real mark on the record.
40 ships bought over the years, most of them stepping stones: flown hard, traded up, remembered dimly.
Beyond the Cradle
What waited past the birth system: the path to the middle, a wreck beyond the Atlas's reach, a derelict signal, a base grown from nothing.
Dreams of the Deep
The derelict freighter questline: a decades-old distress signal and the crew who never made it home.
Then the story finds another footing. What the deep kept was never treasure. It was an ending, waiting for someone patient enough to find it.
Expanding the Base
Hiring the specialists who turn a landing site into a working base: overseer, scientist, weapons technician, farmer.
What follows had no precedent in the log. What the overseer's tour teaches him most is how little he had actually been watching, 2 879 logged species of flora notwithstanding.
He went back to what he had been doing. Data moves across the lab screens faster than he can read it, sorted by someone who actually understands it.
The pattern held. He hands the weapons technician the keys to the range, and watches the base grow a harder edge.
The same instinct, acted on twice. He half expected the plots to fail like the first attempt did. They do not. The farmer knows the soil better than he ever did.
In « Samnaco Quadrant », a « creature » crossed his path. late summer 2024, the record says, and it did not leave.
The memory that stays is a trajectory: bent toward « "Fish & Ships" », in « Iabaldiam Band », and then, without explanation, bent away again.
New Beginnings
What comes immediately after the fork: the road that opens once the Purge is behind him.
Settlements
A frontier outpost claimed, named, and left to run on its own.
What comes after is a different animal. « Lunits-Perdu » rises at « Nodrovyolk 🏠 », in « Yoidav Cluster 🏘️ ». 0 people eventually call it home, and he signs for every one of them.
A Trace of Metal
The questline that turns a hostile sentinel drone into a companion.
The same line of thought, extended. At « Lunits-Perdu », the assault leaves wreckage worth searching. A drone shell lies among it, undamaged, waiting to be rebuilt.
Off the Main Road
What the save record keeps outside any questline: names given, time passed, places returned to.
A fault line runs through here. A season passes and he is at « 002 Colonie Lunits » again, autumn.
Journey's End
The final tally the save file keeps: systems, regions, galaxies, days.
It carried on from there. The record has nothing more to say. 59 systems, 24 regions, 1 galaxy, 0 deaths along the way. 71 planets logged, 1 809 sentinels fell somewhere in the record.
