Doki doki
Dokiessmat opens on doki, half of the Japanese doki doki (ドキドキ): the sound of a beating heart, the one manga draw next to a character in love, or in fear. A visual novel took the word as its title in 2017, Doki Doki Literature Club, a sweet school story that turns into a horror game.
In Dokiessmat, the heart beats only once.
