A patchwork name
Boyaghosganh has twelve letters, as many as the glyphs of a portal address, and it reads like three languages sewn together:
- Boya is a real word twice over: paint or dye in Turkish, a buoy in Spanish.
- ghos is one letter short of the English ghost.
- ganh is the ending it shares with Waferganh, and the root of ganhar, to win, in Portuguese and Occitan.
Read in one breath, Boyaghosganh sounds like the name of a painted ghost ship.
