Hekwindne Region

About this Region

From the core of Euclid, it takes 621 946 light years to reach Hekwindne, in Quadrant Alpha α. This region is part of the space mapped by Black Hole Suns.

A lone charted system, Sionum-Yulki XVII, puts this region on the map. There are 605 star systems here, waiting to be explored. Space station envoys in this region belong to the Merchants Guild. With just 39 wealthy economies, the region sits in the bottom 1 % of the galaxy. Scorched first planets are unusually common here, 80 in all, more than in 86 % of the galaxy's regions. Look for Nipandli XV: a system with a blue-hued first planet and under pirate control, about one in 1 600 across the galaxy. The closest known region is Elphinau Band, 6 013 light years away.
